Last few days of holiday!

We had a great holiday, and over the last few days, we visited The Spitfire Museum, spent tons of time on the beach, and visited Reculver Towers. As kids, my Nan used to to scare the life out of us, telling us stories of babies crying around the ruins... babies that were buried alive. Of course this was a made up story to frighten us, and boy it did. Apart from this time, I googled Reculver Towers babies... and it appears that there are people who have heard babies cry. In the 1960's on a dig, the skeletons of up to 10 babies where found under the walls of the church. They were in perfect condition, indicating that the children died without prior conditions, and it is found hard to believe that the Romans who built the Church would have waited for 10 babies to die naturally, if they needed bodies... strange it seems but maybe my Nan wasnt spinning us a tale for years... creepy!!!!

It was enough to frighten the life out of us, when walking in the ruins, behind the towers, we could see something on the floor just inside the towers! Turned out to be we think a kite, but none of us were brave enough to go in and check it out!!!!!!

Been home a week nearly now, and wish I was back on holiday and in that sea every day!!
