Matt and Mandi are trying hard to raise the remaining $6500.00 to bring home their son Drew from China. They seem to be such a lovely family, and have children already and yet are struggling to bring home another child to share all they have with! They have a long way to go still so please please help!
Anyway get yourselves over to their blog... link below! There is a link to their fundraising site, with so many gorgeous things that you can win for your donation... so it works for you too!!! Personally I'm already going to be shopping some of the wonderful donators too because their stuff looks great and they must be amazing people for donating to such a good cause! $25.00 is about £16.65 ish so really that's nothing!!!!

Slacker!
I've been a terrible blogger recently and just havent felt the urge to talk at all... lots been happening in our little world and will definitely post about it all in the next few days but felt I needed to break the silence temporarily and make myself write something! Doesn't mean I havent been on here reading all the time!!! Picked up Matt on Friday after a meeting in Birmingham so we had the pleasure of his company over the weekend. Makes me miss him more now he's gone home... xxx

Baby dolls
Havent used it myself but came across this website that sells an amazing range of dolls, particularly aimed at people who are adopting but definitely suitable for anyone with asian, mixed race, or black children.
Just thought I'd put it out there....

Only 1 year and 364 days to go!
Til G's 40th birthday that is.....
We have spent a wonderful day today celebrating his 38th birthday! We had the mother of all lay ins! Woke happy refreshed and to balloons and cake, cards (did you know the postman delivers on a sunday??) and pressies! After all the stress of not knowing what to get him, I went for a somewhat easy and bit of a cop out, of some old CDS that he has wanted for ages, which are on order, and some cash for him to get something manly that he wants for his car! I did look for a long while... even considered 50 cents tickets.. but apparently I did right not getting them, nor the Sally Morgan psychic tickets that I also considered, or Mint Condition, yep I hadnt heard of them either!!
Anyway off we went for a few pleasurable hours to Mercedes Benz World at Weybridge where they have it seems every MB ever made and more... old, new, pricey and more pricey!
This shot is from the top level of the building... the escualtor is very steep and gave us jelly legs!
This one was worth £115,000! Wrap us up two!
And lots of these cars you can sit it and try out! It's good fun for the boys.. and even I enjoyed bits of it too! There is a good film too and how they developed the first Horseless carriage, as it was called... with the papers at the time reporting Why would anyone buy a horseless carriage when there are horses available??
Here it is.. and behind it on the wall, a picture of a young girl. Her father ordered the first 18 of the more motorised car that the company produced, Mr Benz and Mr Daimler, and as part of the deal for so many, he wanted the line of cars named after his daughter Mercedes, which is apparently the spanish for Grace. After that they kept to the name as the cars sold so well!
History lesson over!
We told the guard we were window shopping for when our lottery numbers come up! He said we wouldnt be able to afford this one even then... it;s a concept car, belonging to some Sultan and on loan and is worth yes you are hearing right £10.2 million pounds!!!! The top of it is all glass.
We shot home after this lovely outing and my parents come over for tea and birthday cake, and more pressies. We spent a few hours having a good laugh and then they went and we shot off again to a nice Mexican restaurant up the road, for a very peaceful dinner, very nice, G's choice and now home having a cuddle and watching some TV of his lordship's choice!
Better start planning the 40th now... he's announced he likes no fuss, but for the 40th he would like big fuss!

Nearly the weekend!
It's not that I havent been thinking about it! It's just that I have no ideas! He was spoilt rotten at Christmas, he had tops and jeans, trainers, dvds, cds, underwear, a chain, and a new wallet!! What else is there??
Going to have to find something tomorrow.. it's just pretty hard when you are also trying to find things for your family to buy him too!!! Managed to get a pressie for Nan and Mum and Dad sorted for him!
Hmmm.... I wonder if I can hide a cake and balloon in the hallway cupboard until sunday??

Face painting fun
Scarlett was 5 this week and so today we had a family get to together
at my parents house, with fun painting fun! I did her butterfly,
before we convinced G that he would be a pirate while secretly
painting a flower on his face! Amelie was just happy with lots of
cuddles!

Scarlett told me very seriously on her birthday when I questioned her
about being 15, that she was in fact 5 and a half! There was no
telling her otherwise!
She painted my face too... I've only just washed it off... A butterfly
on my cheeks... She told me. "I've just my best" bless her. Happy
birthday little darling xxxxx
