After the wedding it took us a good few months to return to some normality in our relationship as well as in day to day life.
The wedding was amazing. I loved every minute of the energy and the fun, the planning and the making, and the day itself was just perfect to us. Even the small things that went wrong didnt effect how fantastic the day was and how in love we were! Sickening I know.
When it was all over we still had a week off before we left for honeymoon in Crete and then the two weeks honeymoon there. That too was brilliant. Relaxing and fun! The perfect start to married life.
Returning home we both felt unsettled, like we couldnt remember our home. Personally I felt a strange sense of not knowing what to do with myself. Sure there was work, and all the normal things to do but I was essentially bored with them. I didnt have my wedding to plan. Pathetic I know it sounds but now I can see clearly that it was definitely a come down from all the excitement!
Still onwards and upwards. Three months on from that, I can quite happily say I feel I have found some focus in my life again....hence the start of the new blog!
